Registration Cancellation, Refund, and Payment Dispute Policy

Genoa Youth Baseball & Softball is the shared registration website for two organizations. The Genoa Little League Association administers baseball registrations, and Genoa Area Girls Softball administers softball registrations. Each organization is responsible for payments and decisions involving its own programs.

To cancel a registration or withdraw a participant, please contact us using the contact information provided on this website. Include the participant’s name, program, sport, and registration confirmation number.

A cancellation or withdrawal request is not complete until it has been confirmed by the organization responsible for that program.

Refund requests are reviewed individually by the organization responsible for the registration. Refunds are not automatic.

When reviewing a request, the organization may consider when the request was submitted, whether teams have already been formed, whether uniforms or equipment have been ordered, whether league or insurance expenses have already been incurred, and the circumstances surrounding the request.

After reviewing the request, the organization will notify the family whether a full refund, partial refund, or no refund will be provided. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever possible.

If an organization cancels an entire program and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, affected families will receive a refund of the applicable registration fee.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, duplicated, or unrecognized, please contact us using the contact information on this website. The organization responsible for the registration will review the payment and work with you to correct any confirmed error.

Contacting us first often allows payment questions to be resolved more quickly. Nothing in this policy limits any rights provided by your card issuer or applicable law.
